The Organization of Traditional Religions of Anthropos (OTRA) brings together traditional spiritual leaders, indigenous practitioners, scholars, and faith communities to promote unity, mutual respect, and peaceful collaboration. Guided by the timeless African principle of Biri Ka M Biri—"Live and Let Live"—OTRA exists to foster dialogue, preserve sacred traditions, and encourage collective responsibility for the future of humanity.
A Shared Vision for Spiritual Unity
Africa is home to some of the world's oldest spiritual traditions—traditions that have guided communities for thousands of years through principles of balance, respect, wisdom, and harmony with nature. The Organization of Traditional Religions of Anthropos (OTRA) was established to create a platform where representatives from diverse African spiritual traditions, alongside other faith communities, can meet in an atmosphere of mutual understanding and cooperation.
Rather than promoting one religion above another, OTRA seeks to cultivate dialogue, preserve indigenous wisdom, and encourage peaceful coexistence among all people. Through meaningful conversations and collaborative initiatives, we believe spirituality can become a powerful force for addressing many of today's social, environmental, and humanitarian challenges.
